Annually, for the eight consecutive years, the University of Dubai Alumni Association (UDAA), in collaboration with Beit Al Khair Society, launches its Annual Charity Campaign for the 8th times now, followed by the prestigious Annual Charity Gala Suhoor during the sacred month of Ramadan. Under the distinguished patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum, the UDAA Honorary Chairman, this event stands as a beacon of compassion and generosity.
For more than a simple fundraiser, the Charity Campaign serves as a vital lifeline for deserving students encountering financial obstacles, operating under the umbrella of the Alumni and Friends of the University of Dubai Scholarship Fund. With unwavering commitment to transparency, each financial transaction is meticulously recorded and overseen by our esteemed partner, Beit Al Khair Society, ensuring that funds reach scholarship recipients with utmost integrity.
This noble initiative extends its reach beyond the boundaries of the university, welcoming the esteemed UD community, including alumni, faculty, staff, administration, and current students, as well as local businesses, philanthropists, and compassionate individuals eager to support the Scholarship Fund’s mission.

Based on Beit Al Khair’s belief in the pioneering role of the University of Dubai in the process of education, construction and the renaissance of society, emanating from the university’s strategy and vision to be a global institution in education, research and innovation in order to achieve development and prosperity, and contribute to building a bright future for UAE, the Society is keen to strengthen cooperation relations with the university, in a way that supports the path of integration between the two parties, to serve the sons of homeland.
We give you good news that the annual initiative organized by the University of Dubai in cooperation with “Beit Al Khair” Society to support needy students has completed its preparations and has begun collecting donations for students with limited income. It reflects the spirit of solidarity that prevails in UAE society, and the level of noble values upon which new generations have grown up, and which, despite all the individualism that modern civilization enshrines in our contemporary lives, has remained faithful to its values and heritage and the spirit of fearlessness and altruism that it inherited from its ancestors. The graduates did not forget their brothers in school who had lower incomes, so they moved with this charitable effort to make up for their difficulties in previous years. We hope for more success for this initiative during the holy month in cooperation with honorable donors and benefactors. We, at “Beit Al Khair” Society, were quick to support this initiative, based on our role in charitable work and our commitment to our needy students, as the Society has a “Tayseer” project that we have dedicated to supporting university students, and we will always be partners in any good initiative aimed at supporting students in need, and providing them with a reassuring atmosphere, so they can devote themselves to their studies, complete their educational mission, and be an stalwarts to their country and society.

I’m proud to share that our Alumni Relations Office at University of Dubai has been making a significant impact for over 14 years now. What started as a small initiative has grown into something remarkable!
Through our annual charity campaigns as part of “The Alumni & Friends of UD Scholarship Fund” program, we’ve achieved tremendous success. Over the past years, we’ve raised around 5 Million Dirhams, thanks to the generous support of our alumni and friends.
These funds have been instrumental in providing scholarships to undergraduate students and graduates, following the university’s recommendations. We’ve partnered with Beit Al Khair Society to ensure that these scholarships reach those in need, in line with their conditions and procedures.
This wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our alumni community. Your generosity has made a lasting difference in the lives of many students, helping them pursue their educational aspirations. Through your contributions, you’ve not only provided financial assistance but also instilled hope, inspiration, and a sense of belonging in our students.
